Foot patrol (16/01/2026)

Rick and Lee headed out for some mid-morning open space patrols today before arriving in Rush Green for lunchtime college patrols (5.74 miles).

Eastbrookend's Tom Thumb (10.48am) and Bardag lakes were visited before heading up to Eastbrook Drive (11.15am) via the front lakes (p).

Harveys Lane (11.37am), historically a college gathering hotspot, was checked followed by a loop around Gorseway and Lincoln Avenue (11.56am).

From there, further college-based anti-social behaviour (ASB) places of interest were patrolled, including the Fourth Avenue car port (12.03pm, 12.22pm & 12.36pm, p), the Dagenham Road flats (12.23pm, p) and the Co-op. There was also coverage around the Philip, Horace, Legon (12.14pm) and Thorntons Farm Avenue loop.

The team have also been in contact with the homeless man outside the Co-op to ensure he's as well as can be given the circumstances and that relevant organisations have been approached to offer help.
